The students in Mrs. Thiry's class came back to school on Wednesday after a two-week Christmas vacation and jumped right in to team-building activities with a little friendly competition. Students supported each other by counting for each other. They also developed and refined strategies for approaching the task.
Then on Thursday, students engaged in a STEM lesson that incorporated planning, counting, and assembling a design.
What a great way to have hands-on fun while learning!
