Students in Mrs. Welch's RISE junior high class planted marigolds, vincas, plumbago, tomatoes and miniature roses. The students enjoyed the opportunity to get hands-on with their learning about plants! Stay tuned for updates on how the plants are progressing!
Update from Mrs. Welch: Plants are progressing well! We have 3 little tomatoes sprouting on our tomato plant and our flowers are beautiful! Students have been watering them daily and making sure that they are getting enough sunlight! Our hope is to have at least one or two ripe tomatoes by our last cooking lesson in May so that we can use them!
