Students in Mrs. Hanson's class were EGGstremely happy to participate in all the EGGstra fun activities for Easter in April!  Besides participating in the annual DLSEC Easter egg hunt, students learned about colors, the sign language for each color and also learned about color mixing. They mixed colors and painted with eggs while Mrs. Hanson taught them the signs for each color.

In science, they did a fun science experiment dying Easter eggs using food coloring, baking soda, and vinegar, and in math, they participated in a fun math activity where they glued marshmallows on numbers to make an Easter bunny. This helped the students work on one-to-one correspondence, number recognition, and fine motor skills.
